Blacklight Autobot Tattoo by ShinigamisPet Blacklight Autobot Tattoo by ShinigamisPet
This is AWESOME! Yes, it is a real tattoo and yes it really glows in the blacklight, just as seen. I will upload a normal light picture at a later date (when it's all healed) but I could NOT pass this up!! How ROCKSTAR is THIS??? In case you are wondering the txt says ... in cybertronix (yes that's what it's called and yes I'm a geek for looking it up) Nerd (in normal numbers 2 squared) Life. = nerd for life. Yes, yes I am.

Hope you enjoy.

No I don't own transformers, logo or anything to do with them, just this awesome tattoo.

Here's the non blacklight version...still healing. [link]

EDIT: Here's the healed (a few years later) version. [link]

So friggin awesome! So then the fluorescent ink is pretty much like normal ink but only that it glows under uv light?

Yep, sure is! You can't even see it at all now that its healed unless I grab a black light.

Thank you! I feel the same way. ^_~ (and it still glows almost 3 years later...which for blacklight ink is apparently not very common.)

from time to time. I don't show it a whole ton; it's on my leg near my knee so unless I wear shorts no one sees it.

To tell you the truth I CANNOT remember for the life of me (which is very very sad). I had downloaded it as a txt font on my computer (somebody actually went through and converted all of the glyphs to a font, wow!), but my computer suffered a severe mental lapse, and lost damn near everything. (Hence the sad about not knowing where I got it from.) But I can parenteral that that txt there says "Nerd 2(2) life".

I wanted to add the black light effect to one of my tatts. Can I ask about coast to get that done?

It actually didn't cost me anything more to have this done. The guy I went to was wonderful and he only charged by the hour, not by the colors...and he was just as interested in using the blacklight ink as I was to get it! LOL! Mostly I suppose it depends on your artist and whether or not they need to buy the ink. There are several different colors, only one is invisible under normal light though.

That rocks!!!

A friends of mine did both of my tats, but they were still testing the black light effect so I didn't get it. I may go back and get it done now.

I think... I think my mind just asploded on the utter aweosome of this tattoo :omg: :faint:

Not only is it a TF tatt, but it can glow in the dark when you want it to :headbang: Now all you have to do is get a Decepticon one on the other arm!

LOL! Thanx, I think it's rather roxstar myself! I thought about actually having the blacklight part be a decepticon logo but at the time the idea occurred to me we were already well into the tat and I really didn't want to go over fresh tat with more tat ink...lol.

That would have been too awesome for words - a nice innocent looking Autobot logo that turns into a Decepticon one in the dark :omg:

NO doubt. I almost wish I had done that...but I'm so much of an autobot girl I think I would have been secretly ashamed as I whipped out my blacklight to reveal the hidden truth of my tat...

That's AWESOME!

I'm told that the black light ink is invisible once it heals... is that true?

The reason I ask, is because I would LOVE to do a Harry Potter Dark Mark tattoo on my arm that is entirely black light ink, so it cannot be seen at all without a black light.

Well, as of right now (freshly done) the ink is hardly visible at all. Most of what you see without the black light is the raised flesh from the needle irritation and maybe a slight purple tinge. What I've seen of a few previous ones already done, they are invisible.

AWESOME!

Now comes the question... "Dark Mark", or something different... whatever I get, it must be wildly nerdy (to match my personality) and since I carry a black light with me everywhere I go anyway (I have a Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, with a rather effective black light attachment for the head of it) whatever I get, I'll be able to show anyone I choose...

That is freakin awesome. I wants a sonic screwdriver! I'm not so much into the Harry potter stuff, so not a good person to ask, but anything blacklight and nerdy rocks.

Oh HELLZ yeah!

And sonic screwdrivers aren't that hard to find... some of the bigger comic shops have them, plus Entertainment Earth has them on site (not to mention eBay)
